Weekly Training Log: 4/27-5/3

Hello readers! I took a bit of a vacation from blogging last week but I feel refreshed and ready to write 🙂

Strength training has still been my main focus this past week. Rugged Maniac is quickly approaching in just 5 short days. For those new to my blog, Rugged Maniac will be my first ever obstacle course race (OCR). Rugged Maniac is a 3 mile course with 25 obstacles ranging from  climbing towers of shipping containers to crawling through underground tunnels and leaping over fire plus more! I’m very excited but also nervous, I’ve never done something like this before but I am ready for a new challenge.

Here is a break down of how my week went:

Monday: Rest Day.

Tuesday: Full Body Strength Training

Wednesday: Full Body Strength Training

Thursday: 3.58 miles on the elliptical. I had hope to go out for a run but it was raining and then the treadmills at the gym in my apartment complex weren’t working so the elliptical it was.

Friday: Rest Day.

Saturday: 3 mile run with a 0.65 mile walk


…then an arm workout with 5lb dumbbells.

Sunday: Rest Day.
