The topic for the weeks Friday Five is, Five Brands to Love, in turn I am writing about five brands I am currently loving when it comes to my running and fitness style.
1. Nike:
I love Nike for their apparel. My favorite things to purchase from them are their shorts and running tights because they have a convenient pocket in the back with a zipper as well as the small packet inside.
2. Brooks:
I am currently loving Brooks for my footwear. Transitioning over from Saucony to Brooks, I had no issues, and I love the support I feel in my Brooks. The new Kaleidoscope collection is a fun pattern, I wish I could afford to buy a pair right now but a) I don’t need to spend the money and b) I don’t need a new pair of shoes – sigh.
3. Pro Compression:
I’ve always been a user of the Pro Compression calf sleeves and more recently tried the marathon socks while recovery from my half Sunday evening. They have fun colors and patterns and always feature a sock of the month. Not to mention you can always find a promo code for 40% off and the shipping services are speedy.
4. Blender Bottle:
Blender Bottles are great for mixing up my protein shake, or any powder form drink for that matter. If you are in need of any Blender Bottles, Sam’s Club had a pretty good deal, I pick up a pack of 3 for $18.
5. Go Fit:
I was introduced to GoFit during the Glass Slipper Challenge weekend. I wanted to invest in some new foam rolling materials and the products at the expo were a lot more than I was expecting. Instead I was able to pick up a a new foam roller and the stick by Go Fit from Target and it was on clearance – score!

Yay for Nike! I own two pairs of running shoes and they’re both Nike. (More accurately, they’re the exact same shoes, but in different colors, hahaha. ❤ ) Blender Bottle is awesome as well! :]
Haha, Farrah I hear ya! It’s like once you find that one style or make, you have to get it in all the colors, because you can’t just choose one color and be happy 🙂

Thanks! I use to and still do purchase a lot of my active wear at Target with the Champion brand. I didn’t seriously invest in Nike till I went to the outlet store, which thankfully is two hours from me. I really like having the extra pocket in my shorts and tights.
I’m a big fan of pro compression also! And even though I’m a Mizuno gal, I gotta say those shoes are super cute!
I’ve heard good things about Mizunos, my best running friend wears Mizunos.
Pro compression is great. I love that you can always find a discount code for their great socks and sleeves.
I agree! Especially when they have the grab bag special 3 socks/sleeves for the price of one full pair?! Can’t beat that!
I love runningskirts bran skirts. I have a serious obsession with them and own may more than I care to admit. lol
Haha, but with the daily running and frequent races you do, it’s a good obsession, right?! I mean a girl has to have proper running attire 😉

Ok, you always “need” new running shoes. Especially ones that are that cute!! I might buy those and I don’t even wear Brooks I just need that color on my shoes. Obviously I also love Pro socks. Best sock ever. 😀
