This was probably the most relaxing training week I’ve had in weeks, but I knew it was crucial that I let my legs rest so they would be ready to go on race day.
Monday: Rest day.
Tuesday: 3 mile run.

Wednesday: Rest day.
Thursday: 3 mile run.

Friday: Rest day.
Saturday: Rest day. My best running friend, Montana over at Pretty Lil Mudder, was running Iron Girl as her fast half. She came up on Saturday and we stretched our legs a bit by going to the packet pickup and expo.
Sunday: RACE DAY! 13.1 Miles, though, the course was short two tenths of a mile according to my watch 😦
A race recap to follow later this week.

Stretch and roll! Usually spend the week before a race just taking it easy and trying to sleep and rest. It’s the best! Congrats on your race!
Yes! Stretch and foam roll are a must 🙂
