Stitch Fix Review

Stitch Fix Logo

Stitch Fix is a weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly subscription service featuring clothing and accessories hand selected by a personal stylist. I was introduced to this service by my friend Barbara, and it is dangerous, lol. No, it’s actually a great service! Some of the clothing options I have received and went forward in purchasing, I would have never just picked off a clothing rack and purchased myself.

When you subscribe to this service you are charged a $20 styling fee and assigned a stylist who will hand pick five items based upon your style profile. The Fix is delivered right to your door and you can try the clothing suggestions on in the comfort of your own home. I recently received my third Fix and decided to share my review of it.

Item #1
Renee C Reyna Printed Maxi Dress

I’ve been told by many that a maxi dress would suit me well, but just haven’t invested in one yet, so when this came in my latest fix I was pretty excited to try it on. I love the pattern and the colors are definitely me.

Verdict: It’s a keeper.

Item #2
Lovappella Dahalia Cross Back Tee

This top is simple, cute and super comfy. The fabric is super soft and breathable for the Florida summer weather. Plus, I love the cross pattern in the back.

Verdict: It’s a keeper.

Item #3
Market & Spruce Juli Lasercut Detail Blouse

I wasn’t immediately in love with this top when I pulled it out of the box. I could tell just by holding it up that is was going to be a bit baggy on me. Looking back at the shot of me in the shirt it looks alright due to the lighting but when I look in the mirror I’m not entirely pleased with how this blouse fits.

Verdict: Returning it.

Item #4
Olive & Oak Mimi Lace Insert Spaghetti Strap Blouse

When I pulled this blouse out of my Fix, I was drawn to the color and the pattern. Upon trying it on the fit was just right and it wasn’t until I pair this with my blazer I received in my last fix,  per the suggestion of my stylist, that the two complimented each other perfectly!

Verdict: It’s a keeper.

Item #5
Bancroft Powell Leather Detail Bangle Set

I’m all about accessorizing and my stylist suggested pairing this set with either blouse for a pop of color!

Verdict: It’s a keeper.

Overall outcome of this Fix, I went ahead with the maxi dress and the cross back tee. As much as I loved the mimi lace blouse and the bangle set, I would get more use out of the dress and the tee, plus I have some summer travel plans that I really need to be saving for.

What I love about Stitch Fix is your $20 styling fee is applied as a credit towards your overall total and if you buy all five items at 25% discount fee is applied.
