Weekly Training Log: 6/22-6/28

How’s everyone surviving this heat and humidity? I’m envious of those that I follow on social media who are experience temperature and humidity less than what we are experiencing in Florida. Supposedly there is a “cool” front on the way here for our bay area, but I’m not going to hold my breath to it.

Last week was hot, hot, HOT!  I went for two short runs and let me just tell you, asides from this running funk I’ve been in, the distance has been short for a reason. I went out for one evening run (not doing that again for a while) and one morning run.

Monday: 2 mile run in the evening.

Feel like temperature was 102! Actual temp was 90, but it definitely felt hotter!

Tuesday: Full body cardio and strength training

Wednesday: Cardio and strength training focusing on legs, back and core.

Thursday: Cardio and strength training focusing on arms.

Friday: Rest day.

Saturday: 2.5 mile run in the morning with my friend Barbara to help me with my running funk!

Sunday: Rest day.
