The weather last week and this past weekend has been just awful, and I am not talking about the heat. Here in Florida we’ve been seeing a continuous pattern of isolated showers and thunderstorms at all times of the day. As I sit here and draft up this post this is what the weather looks like outside my window – GLOOMY!
This past weekend was the worst, we had about 36 hours of non-stop rain fall, with all of the surrounding counties under a flood watch till 8pm on Saturday evening.
The city my parents live in saw 2+” of rain just this afternoon alone…I don’t know about you all but I am ready for some cooler, less rainy weather. For the time being though, I won’t let the heat or the rain interrupt my workouts:
Monday: 20 minutes on the elliptical followed up with a kettle bell workout
Wednesday: Full body cardio and strength training focusing on glutes, quads, triceps, and core.
Thursday: Rest day
Friday: St. Pete Beach Summer Series 5K #2
Saturday: 1-hour rock climbing (first time) and bouldering
Sunday: Rest day.
