Florida Holiday Halfathon Training Recap: Week 8

FHH Weekly Training Log

It was a glorious weekend as we finally got some relief from the heat. A small “cold font” move in Friday evening and we woke up to low humidity and temps in the low 60s on Saturday. I was able to open up the windows both Saturday and Sunday and cut some costs on the energy bill. I’m a little sad that it is suppose to warm up again during the week, however, the forecasters are predicting another cool weekend ahead.

I think the cooler weather combined with some additional rest helped provide me with what I think has been the best week in this training cycle.

Monday: Special BOLD workout due to recovery week. No running and no burpees!

Tuesday: 4 mile run in the morning and then attended another BOLD session.

2 miles came in under 10 minutes!
