Florida Holiday Halfathon Training Recap: Week 2

FHH Weekly Training Log

Week 2 of training is in the books. So far I am feeling pretty good overall between the running and the boot camp sessions. The camp runs in four week camps with one “rest” week in-between the camps. This week wrapped up camp 37, but camp one for myself. In case you missed it, I committed to be CG BOLD for 6 months. I can’t wait for the next camp to start!

Here’s a breakdown of last week’s runs/workouts:

Monday: Boot camp in the morning with Court and my BRF Montana joined us! Keeping up with the planks for Guna, Inc. September Plank Challenge, 45 min plank at camp and then came home and did a 2 min plank and then a 1:30 for a total of 4:15 for the day.

Tuesday: 4 mile run with Barbara, then 2x 2:15 planks for day 29.

Wednesday: Boot camp, including a mile run. Finished out the plank challenge with a minute plank at camp and then came home and completed 2x 2 minute planks.

Thursday: 2 mile solo run.

Friday: Boot camp with Court, first month of camp is complete!

Saturday: 6 mile run with Barbara, with some B-E-A-U-tiful fall-like weather for Florida – 72 degrees with mild humidity! I can’t wait for even more cooler temps.

Sunday: Rest Day

Miles logged this week: 13

Total Miles logged for Florida Holiday Halfathon training: 24
