Hello, hello!
I wish I could say I have a lot to catch up on, but sadly I lacked in the workout/running department these last two weeks. I was out of town for work producing custom TV commercials for our clients and then our industry’s national convention.
I took an early flight home last Monday and had to head straight to the office. I was purely exhausted all last week, I actually accidentally fell asleep at my desk Monday afternoon – oops! It was only a short 5-10 nap before I jolted awake. While trying to recoup I decided to listen to my body and rest when it told me too.
Week of 10/12-10/18:
Monday: Boot camp with Court. Camp 38 kicked off starting with endurance week!
Tuesday: Short two mile run before the madness begins!
Wednesday: Couldn’t attend camp face to face but I was able to do a virtual workout at my hotel gym, and got a mile in on the treadmill.
Thursday: No workout, 14+ hour workday on set.
Friday: No workout 12 hour workday on set again followed up with client dinner.
Saturday: My only day to sleep in, and boy did I! After 10 solid hours, I could have slept longer but we needed to head over to the convention hall to set up our booth.
Sunday: Wanted to sleep in again, but got up and headed down to the gym. 4:3 intervals on the elliptical for 3.1 miles. I was hoping for a run outdoors, but 30 degrees with a feel like of 27 is a tad too cool for this Florida gal!
Week of 10/19-10/25:
Monday: Rest day, early flight back to home, then to work and home to bed!
Wednesday: Boot camp with Court. Functional week!
Friday: Boot camp with Court and my sister, Erika.
Saturday: Rest day.
Sunday: 8 mile run/walk intervals. Not my best training run but I did not give up and quit miles earlier!
Total Miles logged for Florida Holiday Halfathon training: 52.1
