Weekly Training Log: 5/4-5/10

Ello!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! Who raced? I did, well, sorta. I completed my first mud run – and it was awesome! More details on that to follow but in the meantime I am sharing with you how my week went. Mud runs really don’t need tapering and this race was just a 5k, and four halfs later a 5k is like a warm up run, lol.

I kept up with the strength training but tried not to do anything too crazy that would cause muscle soreness towards the later half of the week leading up to race day.

Monday: 30 minute strength and balance yoga session.

Tuesday: 3.1 mile run followed up with full body strength training


Wednesday: Rest Day.

Thursday: 2 mile run and then upper body work.
Friday: Rest Day.

Saturday: Rugged Maniac!

Sunday: Rest Day.
